actually, that's the really bothersome bit. recently direct tv sued someone who was
ABOUT
to make a bunch of decoders, but hadn't made any yet and hadn't sold any yet (though he
had done it before and gotten in trouble). they managed to get millions of dollars in
punitive damages based on what they said the loss would have been if he had managed to
make and sell them! yes, he was fined punitive damages for something that hadn't even
happened based on some assumption on how many he would have managed to sell before
being
caught when he had been caught before making any of them! the law is clearly insane,
as
are many judges and lawyers! if you have the money, and get the "right" judge nearly
anything can happen, we've all seen plenty of example's of this. i only hope it was
appealed and overturned, and pray the original judge gets thrown out of office soon and
winds up serving coffee at McDonnell's, where he will hopefully sell some to a little
old
lady who spills it on her genitals and collects $2 million. justice and the law rarely
coincide by any rational definition.

Time to stop beating around the bush. Beat the bush _itself_.
Give it a good thrashing, and say "bad bush!" in a loud stern tone.
