Similar new prices here in New Zealand. Used is not so bad, a G3/300 B&W here can be had for ~$250US. Importing from the States is feasible only if you have a tame shipper (fortunately I do... about $27US to ship a computer here from Los Angeles). No duty, but a 12.5% tax on price paid, insurance (if any) and shipping cost... unless it comes by mail, in which case there's no tax but shipping is too high.

I'm just curious. What is a "tame shipper"? I just wanted to know in the event that something needs to be sent Down Under.
