I don't know what's wrong with your machine really. 10.2 Jaguar loaded just fine on my G3 AIO (don't try 10.3 however, it caused me some problems with my printer). I wonder, do you have any extras in your machine (like PCI cards)? If that's the case, you could try removing those. Then try to reboot on CD. If that doesn't work, it could be you've got a bad CD (in which case your Mac won't recognize the content and go straight to a viable System, the one on your Hard Drive). Just my 2 cents.
