Oh Crikey what a PITA. I really do feel your pain! You seem to be one of
those disgrunted Mac users, well it's gotta happen to some of us, and
unfortunately unless you have a Mac guru living next door, you will be an
unhappy camper. I'm pretty much a geek and still wish I had a computer
genius next door.

And being out of work, well that really clamps it doesn't it. I'd be one
peed off person too.

I do know about streaming radio, the only way I can get it is with the <suck
in breath> windoze machine 18 inches away from me. I find that to fully
experience the internet and all of it's joys, you must have both machines,
the Mac and a dark side machine, tho' in all fairness the Windoze machine is
a nightmare, I have to run spyware/adware checkers at least once a week (I
really should do it once a day, it's THAT bad) and have to have a virus
checker running in the background it's THAT bad. Mac? not a damned virus
checker or anything running on a 24/7 cable modem connection. Just the good
old router. Simply amazing.

And as for Apple, they are just an American company trying to keep up with
the status quo and that's that. We're running outdated ancient machines and
it's amazing that even SOME of them can run the newest OS in the first
place. They're just trying to keep afloat too, yanno? I can see both sides
of the coin and life just sucks sometimes for us little guys/gals who are
scrimping and scraping to have a Mac because we KNOW what's the best.
