No Pci cards, new cd which was still factory sealed. I give up.

I don't know what's wrong with your machine really. 10.2 Jaguar loaded just
fine on my G3 AIO (don't try 10.3 however, it caused me some problems with
my printer). I wonder, do you have any extras in your machine (like PCI
cards)? If that's the case, you could try removing those. Then try to reboot
on CD. If that doesn't work, it could be you've got a bad CD (in which case
your Mac won't recognize the content and go straight to a viable System, the
one on your Hard Drive). Just my 2 cents.

redicilious prices for 10.2. Also keep in mind the g-3 all in one is not a
very powerfull machine.
Also it will only support up to 10.2.8 supposedly which I do not even
believe it will run
with the headaches this thing is become.
Also from what I read if it did install 10.3 which would need that 3rd party
utility Sound would not work!
Not to mention Floppy which I use for storing small graphics.
