The USB drivers can be installed from the package on Apple's site, or doing a custom install from your OS disk.
The Firewire may require OS 9; I'm not sure. I do know that you need to either do a system install with the USB/FW card in the system or do a custom install later of just the USB and FW drivers. The installer detects whether or not the interfaces are there and doesn't install the drivers if they're not.
On my system (running OS 9.1 at the time though) I just did a custom install from the system disk of just the USB and Firewire drivers; after that the card worked perfectly. This is that same OWC combo card.
