I'm playing Halo on a B&W G4/600 768MB RAM with a Radeon 7000 (32MB memory)
all running on Panther.  It actually is quite playable with this config
though you do have to press "P" when you start up the game in order to
bypass the 698MHZ requirement.  The graphics run pretty smoothly though you
do notice some sluggishness during real intensive play.
