I want my Application Switcher back. It sat neatly out of the way (but conveniently positioned) in the right corner of the menu bar. Now I have to search through all the applications in the Dock and figure out which of those little icons is the window I want.
I also missed the way I switched applications on OS 9...I am using ParaDocks...it makes a small icon menu on the desktop - stays where ever you put it and adds icons as you open applications. It has options to make it available at the click of the mouse, etc. I don't see the ability to add names but it is much better than moving clear down to the dock.
I want WindowShade back. When I wanted to see the desktop I could just double click the title, find what I wanted, then double click the title again. Now I have to search through the Dock. WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT! (Ok, I just checked out Expose - but I still prefer WindowShade.)
Under the Appearance Control panel click the box that allows windows to minimize the a double click on the title bar...works just like it used to!
One of the things I loved about Mac OS was that it worked the way _I_ wanted it to. Now I'm stuck with someone else's idea of how a computer should work (shades of Bill Gates).
The color choices bother me...I would rather have a few more options than blue and graphite...any good ideas on programs to do that?
Michele
