I have a nice SCSI harddrive that I am trying to use as a Mac OS X boot
disk. P{roblem is, OS X wont boot from it unless it is in sibgle ended mode.
However, if I boot OS X off another HD, it will mount the drive most of the
time (while in LVD mode), but not all the time. And it seemed as though OS 9
did not have a problem booting off it while in LVD mode. I am using an Adaptec
39160, dual bus card. Do I need to put a terminator on the unused external
connectors, or the unused internal bus connector? Any ideas what the problem
might be? Ive got some applications that Id really appreciate a faster load
time. BTW, its a Sawtooth 450MHz, 896MB RAM, OS 10.3.5.
Thanks
Chris
