I have a G3 Beige MT that I had no luck putting 10.3
on (from 9.x) until I upgraded to 10.2.
There's an XPostFacto for X, and it upgraded pretty
slick from Jaguar with that.
I didn't run 10.2 long; I wanted Safari, though iCab
works fast for me (maybe it's no ads), with the
features I want, and I think it has versions for 10.1,
10.2, and even 9.x.
I'm running 640 MB with a dual monitor setup, and it
has a USB card and a Firewire card, with both working
out of the box.
