I'm seeing Western Digital internal hard drives everywhere: Staples,
Office Depot, Sam's Club, CompUSA. The prices are pretty good,
occasionally excellent. But I never had one, and don't know whether to
trust them--my Macs are mostly full of Hitachi DeskStars, and I've
never had one of those fail (knocking on wood).
WD drives are cheap, but cheap can be false economy when you've got a
lot of valuable data to protect.
What's the general opinion on Western Digital hard drives?
Tom
