I have a Sawtooth with two (2) hard drives. One has OS 10.3.7 and the
other
has OS 9.2.2. It has an internal modem which I added after getting the
computer. When in OS X the modem is recognized, but when I am in OS
9.2.2 the computer does not recognize the presence of the modem. Does
anyone know what is going on here?
OS 9.x needs to have the modem's extension loaded. Use your OS Install
CD to do a Custom Install - look for Modem Software in the Networking
and Connectivity section.
