I just bought a Logitech USB Headset 250 at RadioShack, to work

It worked yesterday. OK, not perfect, but it worked.
I turned on the computer today, and the headset doesn't show up under Sound.
I have to reseat the USB headset AFTER startup each time, to get it
to show up on the system.
Very annoying.
Any ideas of how to get it to load up at normal startup, without
reseating the headset USB cables to the back o' the computer?
Someone on another list was having an equally bizarre problem. With
every reboot, he'd have to move the mouse to the other USB port on
the card.
Installing USB Overdrive <http://www.usboverdrive.com> solved the problem.
Now, I'm not saying that this will solve YOUR problem, but as it's a
free download with a trial period, it's worth a shot.
Plus, USB Overdrive is THE killer app for USB input devices. It'll
let you do things with a multi-button/scrollwheel mouse that Apple
never imagined.
