I have found that trashing the Photoshop preferences usually resolves
any issue
You also need lots of RAM and more than one scratch disk to keep it
happy
I am running CS under Tiger on a 1.33 12" PB with 768 MB of RAM and I
have very few issues (except speed) when dealing with 300-400 jpegs
at a time
What is your config
