Good day,

I have a Beige G3 Desktop (originally 266MHz - Rev2/B) that has been
upgraded with a PL G3/800 ZIF and SIIG ATA 133 Pro IDE adapter. This
works fine with OS9, but when I try to run OSX (Panther or Tiger) I soon
get data corruption on the disk.

I have looked around online and have found the following possible issues:

- Bad PL G3/800 ZIF
- CPU Upgrade too fast for the SIIG (ACARD)
- Bad memory (I am using some old spare memory that may be bad - can't
tell. Need link to ID the chips)

Hoping to save some time debugging this thing, I wonder if anybody on
the list could verify this issue, and give any hints as to how to
expedite fixing it.

Thanks,
Tyler
