You can't run Panther or Tiger on a G3 Desktop (Beige) without using XPostfacto. If it's a B&W you should have no problems. The latest OS you can run on a Beige is Jaguar. On my Beige I had to run OS X without any signs of OS 9 that's the only way it would work. I could never get any higher then OS X.2.6. But that ran very stable and it helped me to get acquainted with OS X. Good Luck with your problems hope you solve them. Brad
