Well, that isn't going to work right now. Forgot I don't have a zif
for the xlr8 carrier in the machine. So hopefully in the next few
hours somebody will know if it's even possible. Dave
Why can't the same method be used on a Beige, also unsupported?
I've got a bare drive on my AGP with Tiger installed, so I will go
ahead and plug it into an unused Beige in the spare room and see
how it goes and get back with the results.
Tyler, if it works, you would want to find someone with a newer Mac
not older one. Not sure that's any easier a task, but clearly
there must be other Mac users down there, somewhere... Dave
