Didn't I see someone recently have the same problem I do right now,
viz: I have a Quicksilver running X that can boot back into 9, but the
key on the keyboard that opens the CD/DVD tray in X doesn't work in 9.
And unlike my last G4. this one doesn't have a button on the tower to
open it. So, just how do you get the tray open on the tower when in 9?
Didn't I see someone offer a solution to this recently? What was it?

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks Tom, but I just booted back into 9.2 and that key won't work for me. We are talking about the one on the upper right corner of the keyboard, with the eject symbol on it, right? Mine doesn't do a thing in 9, so maybe 9.1 is different from 9.2, or maybe your keyboard is different from mine. I have the white keyboard that I think they call the Apple Pro keyboard (a brand new one from CompUSA).
