I don't want to buy anything unless I have to on this one. My laser
printer is the Apple Personal Laserwriter 4/600 and has no ethernet
connection.
That situation is what those converters from Ethernet to AppleTalk are
intended for. My motto is, parts needed to get things going, have
to be
bought. Saves a lot of nerves....
It is not yet clear to me that parts are needed. See previous posts.
There is still hope. Let me remind you: I have five million older
Macs including good 7300s most of which perfectly operate the 4/600
apple personal laser printer. I have a QS 933 fancy doodle dandy with
1GB of Ram and 2MB of backside (what do you think of that pal?). I
also have a nice crossover ethernet cable. And nerves of steel. And
you want that I should go shopping more?
