David, you need to tell your QS to be a server before the 7300 can connect to it. Here is how:

1. Open System preferences. Click on "Sharing"
2. Click on the "Services" section if it is not already selected
3. Click the "Start" button

That's all. Now the folder called "Public" in your home directory becomes shared, and you can connect to it from the other machines. When it shows up on an OS9 desktop as a remote volume it will have the name of the logged in user on the QS ("David" perhaps?)
