Can this be done in any way? How can get rid of all OS X crap that thinks me and my wife and each of the creatures in the fish tank nees a separate account?
If you use just a single account for everyone, then this isn't a problem. To get rid of "all the OS X crap", well, get rid of OS X....the multi-user nature of OS X is absolutely unremovable.
Install Mozilla for web browsing and you can set up different profiles so everyone can use their own bookmarks, mail, etc.
I also want to put my jpgs where I want and do not feel like arguing with i-this and i-that over it. How can this be done?
Put them there. Where do you want to put them? What 'argument' are you getting?
