Definitely heed Bruces' advice. Us migrators just have the urge to futz
around and usually "untune" things in the process.

However, any old-time home auto mechanics can probably fine tune 6 two barrel carbs in any old car -- but these new autos with electronic fuel injection and the latest autotronics is another beast -- like OS X as the analogy goes.

I suppose I will be seeing the analogy police shortly :-).


No, on the contrary, I agree. I was a bit surprised at Bruce's analogy too! Me too about the new autos, it is one reason that stops me getting one.
