Where you'd likely see the most gain is in video playback. I have a 350MHz AGP G4 that I put an Radeon 7000 in. It plays DVDs okay. But it's too sluggish for mp4 videos. I don't know how much the Radeon helps as this machine never had a Rage 128 running in it. AGP is a significantly faster bus. This card does support Quartz Extreme under Tiger but not Core Image. -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting "I'm a designated driver on the Information Super Highway" --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
