I have been tinkering with my Sawtooth FrankenMac and I am curious about what kind of Chip was supposed to go on a specific spot on the logic board. It can be seen here:
http://pages.suddenlink.net/myhand/what.html It is the surface mount connections for a square chip of some larghe size and I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of chip was planned for that spot? Also. I am getting tired of seeing the logic board laid out like an autopsy victim and I am wanting to encase this puppy. I doubt I will have a Mac case to put it in. In putting it in an old PC case, do I need to use insulating washers on the back or front side of the logic board?
