Hi Bill:

I don't think it is the cpu location since the Sawtooth in the picture 
is running and the processor is on the other side of the board from that 
area.  This chip is not necessary for the function of the board, but is 
either an option or is the next step up from the Sawtooth.  On looking 
at a DA board I have, it looks like the DA has a chip there, so I am now 
guessing that the chip that fits on the Sawtooth turns it into a DA. 
But I am still wondering what that chip is.  Thanks, Dennis in Edna, TX
