Clarification: "IOKitWaitQuiet" is timing out. Then something else ...Responder fails while waiting for IOKit to quiesce ... Something like that. I'm also experiencing my Mail outgoing not always going out on first try, with my Yikes! Tiger 10.4.11 machine connected to the same network. Maybe a flaky ISP response is causing the QS 10.5.5 to hiccup? Using a new Rosewill 10/100/1000 PCI card there ... onboard ethernet 10/100 in the Yikes!. Westell 327W DSL Modem/Router.
