I expect no less than progress from Apple and while admitting envy for those who can move up to it I know that for each one of those in todays ecobomy therre will be many more whose businesses will fall further behind because they believed enough to invest heavily in high end G5s relatively recently.
And they may fail sooner for not having the ability to go Intel. Good for the big guys and bad for those with jobs lost. That's right Apple, embrace Windows users and alienate Mac true believers.
