Yes I read that just before I ordered one ... they now say it will  
probably not be corrected ... been that way for awhile ... and none of  
the components manufacturer's seem to want to fessup as to who's issue  
it is (Seagate's drives, NewerTech's enclosure, Oxford's 934).

So you have no experience with the 7200.11s and the miniStack v2.5?  
i've already read a lot on the web, and it is mostly old stuff.

Seagate's newer 7200.12 peaks out at 1TB. And I read recently, most of  
the 7200.11s have the new firmware already installed. Still curious  
about RAID across partitions ... does that work as a workaround on an  
external case such as the miniStack v2.5 and the 1.5TB Seagates.
