I'm so sorry everyone... I should have titled this thread "How
difficult can I make things on myself." Simple solution (for my
scenario) was this. I fired up my iMac G3 (Graphite run Tiger w/OS 9
Classic) in the kitchen (yes, I have an iMac in the kitchen -- don't
you? Great for listening to music while cooking/cleaning, pulling up
recipes and e-mail, and general on-the-spot Internet surfing.)
Anyway, then I went to the G4 and did Go/Network. Attached to the
root of the Graphite's hard drive. Dragged (copied) the 'System
Folder' (which is the OS 9 System Folder) and the 'Applications (OS
9)' folders over to the root of my G4. 'Blessed' the System Folder
(Google that). Rebooted. Started Classic. Everything is good. Ran
some of the OS 9 apps. Works great. Life is great (again).

Damn I love Macintosh! I live in an Windows world (I'm the IT guy for
my company). I only wish Windows would be half as forgiving/
cooperative as this. Who ever thought you could simply drag a system
folder to 'install' an OS? Not Windows people. That's for sure!!

(P.S. If this didn't work, my next step was to copy the System Folder
to an external drive. I was actually kinda surprised the network copy
worked (hidden/system files and all).)

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Lonnie.
