Well the the original card -once worked just fine upon installation and the
new card is "supposed" to be for the Macs and appears to be supported.

Will try a PRAM reset - but I had done that orignially after swappign the
hardware and resetting all the cards and the original USB hub card was not
even recognized.

If not may try a system software reinstall.
