A consideration would be a G4 iMac flat panel (Flower Pot). A 1.GB processor
and 1GB RAM with USB 2.0 ports is a pretty nice machine
for an all in one and a real space saver.

However for total functionality like Jonas, " tower boxes" are what I prefer, I
can buy all the upgrades at Fry's and OWC so cheap compared to the
original machine cost. The all in one's are limited usually to RAM upgrades,
and occasional logic board swaps on models of the same
basic series.

They all do the basic stuff just some are a little faster. I would stay away
from machines under 867 MHZ processors because a lot of late
model software runs only on the faster machines, I know some will say they can
do it anyway but I don't think the average bear wants to
 jump though fire rings.
