Some PCI cards don't support Sleep, so if u haven't checked them, I
would start there.
After you reset PRAM, does it Shutdown and Startup ok? Maybe its just
after u try Sleep, and fails, it won't Startup properly.
How about USB devices? Any attached? Flaky?
USB KB and Mouse good? tried another one?
