No, there is no difference! 

10.5 is Universal, meaning it runs on any Mac that 10.5 supports, Intel or PPC. 
I've done this, using a single retail 10.5 disk to install on both PPC and 
Intel-based Macs. 

Intel and PPC need different partition schemes, but the OS installed DOES NOT 
CHANGE. If you re moving from a PPC mac to an Intel Mac you must use CCC and 
the drive on the Intel-based Mac must be GUID partitioned. PPC machines need 
the Apple Partition Map scheme.

If you're moving from a PPC mac to another PPC mac, as the OP is, then all you 
need to do is be able to install the drive.

Also EVERY DVD drive ever made will READ dual layer disks; after all, this is 
how a 2 1/2 hour movie + extras are put onto a single DVD disk.
