My QS 933 shuts down a few mins after going to sleep. Have tried various things and checked all settings related to power and shutdown etc. but been unable to resolve. Note I only use OS9. I reckon its a power supply issue...

Occasionally it shuts down when not requested (while not working/ active). I have replaced the battery, tried different startup drives, and... removed power plug, removed battery, pressed power button, pressed smu/pmu/? button on motherboard ONCE... Apple 17" ADC replaced by an old 15" non-adc screen (as it seems to be associated with sleeping - a timed screen sleep causes shutdown)... all to no avail - it still cannot sleep but insists on a shut down. Any ideas anyone? Regards Ged Cornish -- -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
