Hi,
Personally i like this idea, but i'd like to add something to it. In a
ww2 submarine game, i think it was called Wolf Pack, you commanded one
submarine, on an attack mission against an enemy convoy. Now you could do a
solo attack or you could trail the convoy and bring in i think it was 3 or 5
additional ships. Then you would order all of them to go in and attack and
you would as well, my thinking is you could still have the advantage of
fleet command even in realtime. And when one of your subs was destroyed,
mine usually went first, you would shift to the second sub, then the third,
and so forth until you were either successful or dead.
Just a thought.
