The original game is what I've been waiting for. That just isn't going to
change. If you want to make a fancy modern 3d adventure, please do that
after you finish the game people like me have been waiting for. Taking over
a project and then completely going in another direction is just not honest.
I think James North took things about as close as they could be taken with
the changes he made from the original game. To go much further in terms of
changing game play is to no longer be making Montezuma's Revenge. There's
just no two ways about it. If somebody makes a game called Accessible Pong
but addds things like obstacles in the playing field, turrets to shoot at
the ball with, etc, it isn't Pong anymore. It might very well be a fun game,
but it wouldn't be what its name implied. The blind community has more than
one 3d adventure game already but only one finished but very basic
sidescroller. You have a chance to bring a truly great classic game to us.
Please don't blow it by changing the game beyond all recognition.
