Hi Bryan, Not only that, but there are workarounds for running older software in say Windows 8.1. As I have said many times a person can get VMWare Player, install XP in that, and run it side by side with Windows 8.1 allowing you to play any games or use any apps that does not work with Windows 8.1. That gives you, the end user, a choice of which OS to use and you end up with the best of both worlds. I'm not sure why people are so apposed to doing things that way, but it does work.
