That's one thing I like about Window-Eyes. You don't absolutely HAVE! to close it to play most games since it doesn't have an absolute monopoly on the keyboard and so generally won't interfere with the operation of most games. I actually found that out by accident about seven years ago while playing Classic Pipe. I didn't realize till after I closed the game that I'd forgotten to close Window-Eyes before I booted up Pipe, all because it neither spoke nor interfered with the game's use of the arrow keys.

Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
thy micturations are to me
as plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
GroupI implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes,
And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon, see if I don't! -----Original Message----- From: Darren Duff

Make sure you have your sccreenreader unloaded when you pley. IT could be
intercepting the keyboard.

I'm beginning to wonder if I got a faulty download. Whatever arrow key I
try using does nothing. I figure that if I turn toward the opponent in the
first level, the sound should move into the center of the sound field.
Regardless of when I use right or left arrow, nothing seems to change.
Using the up-arrow gives the sound of attacking and the down-arrow gives the
sound of a parry, I think. But I always get killed during what should be an
easily beaten level. I don't think I have the download link, now, so if
someone provides it, along with other suggestions, I'd appreciate it, and
them. Thanks.

Be positive! When it comes to being defeated, if you think you're finished,
you! really! are! finished!
