I think asking "how much does a controller cost compared to a keyboard" is
just a bit unfair. if you think about it, just about every computer has a
keyboard already with it, where as very few will come with any form of
dedicated game controller as standard.
it is also like asking the proverbial "how long is a piece of string", as
prices vary so much.
when I was looking on ebay, the prices ranged from next to nothing, right up
to quite a few hundred quid for something like the saitek system I
mentioned.

Subject: [Audyssey] controller versus keyboard - Re: saitek pro
flightsystem?

Personally, I think that both keyboard and controller support should be
included in games. Having said that, using a keyboard, can you dive while
also turning when maneuvering a submarine? How about with a joystick?
Maybe, to spark interest, what are the advantages of using a game controller
compared to what can be done with a keyboard? And how much does a good
controller cost compared to a keyboard? Thanks.

you! really! are! finished!
