I'd switch but I have so many windows apps I'd have to run a vm of xp or something and if thats the case I may as well continue with windows pluss being an admin everyone uses windows.

Even if ms stops drivver library support most drivers for ms are generic ones anyway. As well as this because of the 8x disaster ms really needs to make sure that their new os works this time, right now it looks ok but there is always a chance to wreck it later. To be honest if xp didn't drop outside support I'd continue using it and now it appears they are trying to make vertuals with xp not work in 8 and up put it this way I have no desire to even think of upgrading.
