HI Dark, I certainly hope that one can continue to back out of that screen. It would be terrible UX to be stuck there once you entered it, with no way to back out of it. More than once, I've accidentally entered Endless mode without meaning to.
So yes, it can be used as a loophole so perhaps another design change could be implemented instead of removing the back button.
