Hi Sarah,

Graphical games are not designed with the blind in mind. Audio Defense, however
is designed not only for sighted players but also for the visually impaired /
blind. So this game does boast an awareness of universal access that a more
traditional mainstream game does not.

So in short, this game is meant to be more fair to a wider range of players.

To address your second point, Let's imagine that a player has no more diamonds.
This player also has an auditory issue of some sort which makes certain
gameplay options basically just unpleasant rather than simply a challenge.

Should this player need to go through the entire process of spawning and dying
again and again just so they can finally be presented with a set of options
which actually offers them a fair shot at some fun gaming? I think not.

Why should one disability be basically at an advantage over another just
because there is some arbitrary sense of rule-following just for the sake of
rules alone?

It's not like anyone is asking for cheat codes or anything here after all, this
is simply a case of players being able to have a simple and enjoyable gaming
experience. That's all. :)

Anyway, thanks very much for your thoughtful note and have an awesome day /
evening!

Smiles,

Cara :)

Hi,

first, backing out of the screen to get new card is just that, a loophole. And
I expect it to get fixed, too. The costs for reshuffling are not there for
nothing after all.

Second, and that may sound hard, but every graphical game in the world is
unfair for us, but they are designed this way anyway. So what? We have to live
with that. And with this game here, you do have the option to change the
game-play, and it's not like you have to pay real money to get diamonds or
anything.

Best regards
Sarah
