Hi,
Tom you have a good point, and Charles I agree and disagree on what you
posted. I wouldn't like my games being singled out, because of debates over
newer technology I should upgrade to. Since Jim makes his games as a
hobbiest, and for yourself to play for personal use. People debating over
things like that, asking to replace the sounds you found or made, and
actually telling you to upgrade the game, with features that let you replace
the sounds, now that would be maddening.
I have an idea, Thomas. Why don't you make a USA Games Developer list. A
programming list for USA Games. That would be a good idea, and take your
programming ideas, development projects, and all of that off list and to the
USA Programmers list... If you make the new list. Just a suggestion.

> Hello listers,
> First, I would like to apologize to everyone who may have been offended

> Though, it seams my words have offended some on this list anyway.
> As to Jim yes you are right. I should have tested more games before
> writing to this list and singling out your games. That was wrong, and I
> am sorry for that.
> As to Che you are also right in saying there has been way too much talk
> of game programming on list, and not enough discussion of playing games.
> I feel my debates on which programming languages are best for carrying
> audio gaming on into the future using Windows Vista and beyond has done
> more harm than good. Instead of being informative they have been

> technologies. Sorry developers if I seamed too critical. I only wanted
> to insure that future games are written to meet not just todays
> requirements, but be ready for tomorrows needs as well.
> This is not an excuse for my poor behavior by any means, but this will
> aid in explaining why I am so for staying with current trends. All of my
> adult life I have not been one for staying behind technology wise. I
> almost always upgrade applications, programming language skills, etc as

> As to my friendly fellow moderator, Raul, I have read your post

> As a case in point earlier this year I did some work for a lady in
> Holmesville. Her HP computer was down do to multiple virus infections.
> It appears she got antivirus software with her computer, but she never

> It is this ignorance of system security I am so passionate to get rid
> of. I'm so frustrated in end users getting a brand new computer,
