Hi, Well, it is true that Jaws, Window Eyes, Hal, etc do cost quite a bit of cash, but there are now free and low cost alternatives in the works. NVDA is totally free, and is good enough for most day to day use. My Universal Screen Access software doesn't currently have a price, but I think it will be a good solution for those needing a low cost screen reader for Windows.
