Hi Tom. My suggestion would be to change the game as it goes on, as you get deeper into the temple.
Begin with traditional aztec weaponry and traps, ---- with maybe a dead or rival explorer to gain modern weapons from (assuming Angela didn't bring any with her)k, but as you get deeper into the temple, you discover more high tech and mysterious traps, such as blades, forcefields etc, and perhaps the option of ganing a high tech ancient weapon, ---- such as a laser gun or lightsabre esque sword.
