Hi Zack, Thanks for the suggestion. Next time I think I'll definitely try using bzip2 to compress the file. As you say gzip isn't very good. Unfortunately, I'm about 75% through uploading the Linux MOTA beta 14 file, and I'd hate to stop it, rezip the thing, and upload again after it has been going for nearly an hour or so. So next time I'll definitely experiment more with compression sizes and archive formats before defaulting to gzip.
