In America sod is grass and dirt that you can unroll and put in a muddy patch of ground.

The one that always amuses me is sod for shades of doom, sinse in england (particularly in the midlands), sod is a mild swearword and something my mum says if she spills her coffee ;d.

That's personally why I always use shades instead if I want to talk about the game more briefly.

Mota is also amusing because with the way I have orphius set and the way I naturally speak it comes out exactly like motor, ---- so if I didn't know better I might think tom's working on raceway already ;D.

Beware the grue!

Hi Michael,

If you have a problem with someone using an abreviation, nickname, etc
for something you should try and be more constructive about it.
Instead of throwing a fit, as you did below, it is much more
reasonable to say, "I don't know what RSW is, and have someone explain
it to you."

After all, those of us who have been on the list quite a while have
gotten use to nicknames, abreviations, for lots of games like SOD for
Shades of Doom, GTC for Tank Commander, LW for Lone Wolf, MOTA for
Mysteries of the Ancients, etc. So if you need clarification all you
have to do is ask nicely, and someone will tell you what you want to
know. What is not exceptable is sending a post like the one below.
Consider this your first official warning.

Well, I just looked up RSW on Google, and got a stock report and
something about SouthWest Florida International airport, and I'm
figuring this has absolutely NOTHING to do with the game previously
mentioned, whatever the hell it is. Thank you for wasting my bandwidth.

Michael
