I agree with you.
I don't mean to step on Jim's toes.
But it is a ok of a game and it should be a game.
I'm way way from being a expert, but if I can answer the question, please
ask it.
The one feature of fsx that I forgot to mention is that there's going to be
a shuttle sim on board fs vereleven.
While on the ground, about the only thing that is not blind friendly in my
opinion is the mission mode and the flying lesson mode.
But to access pretty much any and all of the feature, we need one of the two
third party programs.

Glad you like Tdv, I was involved with voice acting there as you know, and
had a lot of fun doing it. I also do know a lot of work went into the game.
As to Puppy1, I'm afraidd I don't personally class that as a flight sim,
sinse it's based on racking up score, and the flying itself is fairly
simple, which is indeed why in the audiogames.net db it's listed as arcade
games and even if we have a simulation games catagory probably will stay as
an arcade game.
not a cryticism, Puppy1 is often a game I stick on for a quick blast, just
an opinion on the games' genre.
I've never got the hole business with ms flight simulator and all the bells
and whistles you need, so thanks for the explanation there.
