Dear Ganglia developers, I have submitted a patch (bugzilla #227 with attachment #186) which enables to build a dynamic libganglia library on AIX with the "--enable-shared=yes" configure option. It also enables the building of gmond DSO metric modules for AIX, please see my following emails on that subject.
