Every once in a while I get the itch to move and then realize it’s fleas from my ex’s cat. They shut off the electricity last week, but thankfully I have gas. Good thing there’s a swimming pool in the back of the park. I go swimming there in my clothes---to wash them---and I get a nice bath too. The neighbors don’t like it so I usually clean up around midnight. Times are tough. Used to be able to panhandle a six pack an hour and now lucky to get a quart of malt liquor in an entire evening. I’m thinking about hitchhiking up to Nashville to stay with you for a while. I’ll just show up, if that’s ok with you….can’t afford a quarter to use a payphone.
